The second trailer for today is from Hercules which is looking a lot better than the other Hercules movie just a few months ago. The movie was shot here in Hungary and I had the chance to have a walk among the sets after the shooting, it looked cool there and it looks cool in the trailer too.

More Trailers for March
Here are a few more new trailers, check them out:
Firstly we have The Signal, a new sci-fi flick starring Laurence Fishburne and it looks interesting, let's hope it'll stay that way:

Next is The Giver which looks like another entry in the "kid heroes" category which is a trend that should die, but at least there great adult actors in it as well like Jeff Bridges, Meryl Streep, Alexander Skarsgard - I just hope they have more screen time than the teenagers:
Lastly here is a teaser trailer for the Peanuts movie. As a kid I loved the comics about Snoopy and Charlie Brown, they had a strange atmosphere to them. The teaser looks interesting, it's 3D, but not your traditional one - let's see how it works for an hour and a half.

The Maze Runner
Here is a trailer for an interesting looking movie: The Maze Runner. One of my first great film experiences was the movie Labyrinth and ever since that I have a soft spot for puzzle based movies. The first Cube movie was great, but it's not a very popular theme among filmmakers. Now here is this quite good looking little trailer, this even might be a decent movie... I just had enough with kids saving the world. Anyways, check it out:

My New Portfolio is Online
It's been many years since I had my own online portfolio, it just didn't seem like I need it, but last year I started to work on a new one. The design has been changed a few times and I'm still tweaking it here and there, but the biggest issue is to find all my old graphics, videos, animations, etc. - there is a lot. Now still a lot of my works are missing but it's enough to put the site online. Slowly I will add more and more stuff to it.

Side Scrolling on the Streets
Christian Åslund is a Stockholm-based photographer who turned the streets of Tokyo into side scrolling games screens. Great tribute to retro video games.

Simon Stålenhag's Digital Paintings
Check out these great looking and atmospheric digital paintings from Swedish artist Simon Stålenhag. Every image is calm and peaceful in a way, showing landscapes, cityscapes with people and vehicles. But then there are the scifi themed parts, a robot here and there, a part of some kind of machine. These elements never overshadow the main panting, they give a strange scifi feel to them without being a cliché. Great stuff, check it out.
