More trailers, again...

24 was one of the first tv shows that changed my mind about TV in general, it was fast, bold, brutal and very entertaining, I loved all the way through and I never cared about the over the top action scenes or the main character's immortality, 24 is not about accuracy, it's about fun. Many years after the final episode in just a few weeks we get a special 12 episode season called Live Another Day - which really sounds like a title for a Bond movie - and it looks like Jack Bauer is going to kick ass again!

The second trailer for today is from Hercules which is looking a lot better than the other Hercules movie just a few months ago. The movie was shot here in Hungary and I had the chance to have a walk among the sets after the shooting, it looked cool there and it looks cool in the trailer too.

Kung Fury - Trailer

Here is a trailer for a really crazy looking movie: Kung Fury. It's a crowd funded project on Kickstarter and it already has more than double the goal amount was, so quite possibly it will be produced and we can see it on the silver screen soon enough. It looks pretty awesome, I just hope it won't be too much to handle.

Cuphead

Cuphead is a game developed by StudioMDHR. What's interesting about it is the visual style, it looks like a cartoon from 1930's, very well designed and carefully put together. It's a very short teaser but special enough to get my attention, hope to see more from this game soon:

Dead Snow 2

Happy holidays everyone, sorry for being inactive again for a few weeks, these last days of the year are always a rush, lots of last minute jobs and Christmas bonanza.

So anyway there are lot of new visually interesting things out there and since I'm a horror fan let me start with a trailer that is closest to my hear: Dead Snow 2. The first one was a real treat, I've always loved Naziplotation movies and it seemed that the genre is dead for while till Dead Snow, Iron Sky and Frankenstein's Army came along.

Here is a teaser for the sequel and it looks like it's going to be a treat the second time around as well, enjoy:

GODZILLA - First Trailer

Here is the first trailer for the upcoming Gareth Edwards Godzilla reboot and I have to say it looks amazing. I love how Godzilla is not fully shown only mostly the damage he is causing and the final roar gives me the creeps. This should be good.

Vikings - Season 2 Promo

This years greatest new show for me was Vikings from the History Channel. The characters, the scenery, the stories were all cleverly crafted, so I'm really looking forward to the next season which will premiere in February next year. Till then here is a fresh promo for the show.

Guillermo del Toro's The Strain

Here is the first teaser for the upcoming Guillermo del Toro tv series, The Strain, they are in the middle of shooting the series so we won't see the final product for a while for sure, but this short little teaser is effective enough to keep me interested.

The Prototype - Official Teaser Trailer

This teaser trailer is more than a year old, still there is not much more info about this project on the internet. According to IMDB the movie is pre-production, but no release or shooting date is public yet. The teaser trailer has almost 20 million hits on youtube, which is a very high number for an independent production, it all seems very promising, I hope one day they will be able to produce it. Here is the trailer:

Far Cry 3 - Blood Dragon

Far Cry 3 was for me the best fps-action-rpg title from last year with it's great storyline and atmosphere, action packed gameplay and a huge island to discover and conquer. This is something completely different based on the same engine and gameplay-style.

There isn't much information about this game other than it's crazy looks and style, there are no official gameplay videos, only this single teaser, which doesn't really show anything:

The game however has been leaked, so it's already downloadable from various torrent sites a month before it's official release. I welcome the change in style, I've always been a fan of 80' action movies and this game looks like you've just become a star of one. Here are some gameplay videos to get you in the mood:
