Ricardo Solis is a Mexican artist creating these interesting images. From far they look like normal paintings but from up close you can see little people working on the picture Gulliver style. Great idea, good execution.

Judith Ann Braun - Painting with fingers

Judith Ann Braun is a New York based artist creating geometrical style paintings on paper and canvas, the unique thing about her that she doesn't use brushes, she uses her own fingers to put the paint on the surface. At one point when were little I think all of us dipped our hands into paint and started creating an image, it's fascinating to see that this technique can be evolved into such level. Tiny Media Empire

Daniel Danger (I'm not sure if that's his real name, seems a little too cool) is a young artist working in New England, creating beautiful paintings. He had already a few exhibitions and his website show only a small amount of works, but all of them are nicely crafted graphics with carefully selected colors, check him out:

Painted Movie

Here is a trailer of a film from 2011, The Mill and the Cross. Stars Rutger Hauer and it's directed by a polish director, Lech Majewski. What's interesting about this movie is the visual concept. Every image is based on a renaissance painting mainly by Pieter Bruegel. Now, it's not a good movie, it's boring and the CGI lacks quality in many scenes, but it's an interesting concept and I've never seen it done this way. Check out the trailer, it's really something different. Is it a good direction? I'm not sure, but now at least we know why.
