Far Cry 3 - Real Life Experience

It's been a long time since the last Far Cry related post, so here is one. Though this video came out before the game I haven't seen it until I've finished the game, so the first time I've seen Vaas walking around, I thought he was animated because he moved and looked exactly how he did in the game. After watching the this short film for several minutes and the first closeups are shown I realized that it's a real actor, not CG and I was amazed. Micheal Mando is the actor playing one of the antagonists, Vaas, who gained instant cult status as one of the best villains from games.

It's really interesting how the character was created thanks to Micheal Mando, here is an interview with him, check it out:

Kill The Noise - 80's awesomeness

Here is really beautiful music video from Kill The Noise, called Kill The Noise Pt. I. In the video you see a post-apocalyptic earth with zombies roaming about, cyber-heroes battling the hordes of evil. Everything has this stylish 70's - 80's look with the music giving aid to create an amazing atmosphere. Almost as good as the Far Cry 3 - Blood Dragon game was. Enjoy!

Blood Dragon: Cyber War

Another Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon related post, but this time it's a "fan" movie by Corridor Digital. It fits perfectly the style of the game and it looks fucking awesome. Check it out at once:

Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon - Update

The game's official release date is May the 1st, and I can hardly wait to ride this train. It just looks like we are teleported back into the past to fight a war for the future on VHS tapes. Here is the official trailer for the game:

Far Cry 3 - Blood Dragon

Far Cry 3 was for me the best fps-action-rpg title from last year with it's great storyline and atmosphere, action packed gameplay and a huge island to discover and conquer. This is something completely different based on the same engine and gameplay-style.

There isn't much information about this game other than it's crazy looks and style, there are no official gameplay videos, only this single teaser, which doesn't really show anything:

The game however has been leaked, so it's already downloadable from various torrent sites a month before it's official release. I welcome the change in style, I've always been a fan of 80' action movies and this game looks like you've just become a star of one. Here are some gameplay videos to get you in the mood:
