Isometric Animated Short

Here is a little animated short from Mirai Mizue. Back in the days when they first tried to introduce 3D to the games the popular solution was the isometric method. It's 3D in a way but really it isn't because it doesn't have perspective. I really enjoyed games with this style so I have soft spot for these kind of animations. Modern. Enjoy:

My name is Demeter, I’m 31, I live in Hungary and I’m a graphic artist/director. I have my own company, I’ve made music videos, short films, documentaries and a countless number of animations. In this blog I try to collect all the things that I find on the internet and inspires me. As a creator I know that it’s difficult to look outside the box, we tend to come up with the same solution to similar problems. It’s like a breath of fresh air to see something you would have never done, because you never thought it can be approached this way too.
